An expert and specialist in the Saudi construction sector expects that next year will see a noticeable improvement in the construction sector in line with current developments. The construction sector will not continue to stagnate, as is currently the case.

Fahad Mohammed al-Hammadi, a member of the Saudi Contractors Association and chairman of the Riyadh Chamber’s contracting committee, told Al-Riyadh newspaper that the impact of leaving a number of foreigners on the sector is not great. The largest proportion will leave in the buying and selling business.

On the impact of subcontractors who depend on them in many contracting and construction projects in various regions of the Kingdom, Al-Hammadi stressed that the Kingdom’s market for the work of subcontractors in the international borders of this activity is internationally recognized, where the percentage does not exceed 30%.
